Every data source. Fully documented.
Emily pulls from 30 data sources across Westminster, the devolved parliaments, GOV.UK, regulators, and the transparency registers. Here's exactly what we sync, how often, and where it comes from.

Data points indexed
The badge on each source is how often our sync runs, not how current the data is. A daily sync over a register that publishes quarterly is still a daily sync. How far behind its own source each published dataset actually is, measured from the newest record we hold, is on the statistics page and the status page.
Hansard (Debates)
Full transcripts of every debate in the House of Commons and House of Lords, including speaker attribution, timestamps, and debate context.
Bills & Legislation
Every bill currently before Parliament, including stage progression, sponsors, committee assignments, and AI-generated summaries.
Written Questions
Parliamentary questions tabled by MPs and Peers, with ministerial answers when available. Searchable by topic, department, and member.
Oral Questions
Scheduled oral questions to ministers, including question text, department, and tabling member.
Divisions (Votes)
Every recorded vote in the House of Commons and House of Lords with vote counts, party breakdown, individual member votes, and rebellion detection.
Bill Amendments
Amendment-level tracking for bills before both Houses: who tabled each amendment, the amendment text, and whether it was agreed, negatived, or withdrawn.
Early Day Motions (EDMs)
All tabled EDMs with full text, primary sponsor, signatories, and signature count. Track which MPs are signing motions relevant to your policy areas.
Select Committees
Committee membership, inquiry announcements, and evidence sessions across all Commons and Lords select committees.
Committee Oral Evidence Transcripts
Full transcripts of committee evidence sessions with witness attribution: what witnesses actually said, not just who appeared.
Committee Written Evidence
Written submissions to committee inquiries with full text and submitter attribution: who is lobbying each inquiry, and what they argued.
Research Briefings
House of Commons Library, House of Lords Library, and POST research briefings: the analysis parliamentarians themselves read before debates and votes.
Statutory Instruments
Secondary legislation laid before Parliament, including procedure type (affirmative/negative), laying department, and current status.
Register of Financial Interests
Declared financial interests for every MP, including donations, shareholdings, employment, property, and overseas visits.
MP & Peer Profiles
Biographical data, party affiliation, constituency, committee memberships, APPG involvement, and contact details for every sitting member.
GOV.UK News & Press Releases
Government press releases, policy papers, and news stories from all departments. Filtered for political relevance.
GOV.UK Consultations
Open and closed government consultations with deadlines, responding departments, and topic classifications.
Written Ministerial Statements
Formal written statements made to Parliament by ministers: policy announcements that never reach the despatch box.
e-Petitions
Open and closed Parliament petitions with signature counts, government responses, and debate status. A live signal of grassroots pressure.
Parliamentary Calendar
Forward business for both Houses: what is scheduled, where, and when, four weeks ahead. The "what's coming next week" layer of every briefing.
Regulator Publications
Primary-source publications from 43 UK regulators and arm's-length bodies: Bank of England, FCA, PRA, HM Treasury, CMA, OBR, Ofgem, Ofcom, Ofwat, CQC, MHRA, NAO, and more.
Transparency & Lobbying Registers
Ministers' meetings with external organisations, gifts and hospitality, the Register of Consultant Lobbyists, and ACOBA revolving-door decisions.
Political Donations
Donations and loans to political parties as reported to the Electoral Commission, matched to members where possible.
Government Contracts
Public-sector contract awards: which suppliers are winning government work, from which buyers, and for how much.
Procurement Pipeline (Find a Tender)
Forward procurement notices: live tenders with deadlines and values, planning notices, and above-threshold awards. What public buyers are about to spend, not just what they spent.
Made Legislation
Statutory instruments as made law from all four jurisdictions: UK, Welsh, Scottish, and Northern Ireland instruments, including commencement orders that never pass through Westminster laying.
Political News & Commentary (RSS)
Political press from BBC News, Sky News, The Guardian, the Financial Times, The Independent, Politico, ConservativeHome, LabourList, Guido Fawkes, and more. Always labelled as commentary, never blended into the official record.
Think-Tank Publications
New reports and analysis from the Institute for Government, Resolution Foundation, Policy Exchange, IPPR, the Institute of Economic Affairs, RUSI, and more: the analysis that shapes the Westminster conversation before it reaches Hansard.
Scottish Parliament
MSPs, bills, Official Report debate contributions, and written parliamentary questions with answers from Holyrood. All full-text searchable alongside Westminster.
Welsh Senedd
Members of the Senedd, so you can look up who represents which region and party. Senedd proceedings are not covered: the open-data feed was withdrawn in 2026 and no machine-readable replacement has been published.
Northern Ireland Assembly
MLAs from the Northern Ireland Assembly at Stormont. Official Report ingestion is built and runs when the Assembly sits; NI bills are not covered, because the AIMS legislation service stopped returning data.
How Emily processes this data
1. Ingest: Cron jobs poll each official API at the frequencies listed above. Raw data is stored in our Supabase database with full audit trails.
2. Enrich: Each data point is enriched with AI-generated summaries (e.g. bill plain-English explainers), cross-references (linking votes to bills, members to committees), and 1024-dimensional semantic embeddings for natural-language search.
3. Index: Enriched data is indexed with pgvector inside our Supabase database for sub-second semantic search, and with standard SQL indexes for structured queries (filtering by date, member, party, etc.).
4. Verify: Emily always cites her sources. Every briefing includes links back to the original official record: Hansard transcripts, bill text on parliament.uk, or GOV.UK publications.
